Triptii Dimri (TD): What drew me to Victoria’s Secret is that it’s a brand that celebrates confidence, individuality, and self-expression. Those are values I genuinely connect with, both personally and professionally. It felt like a very natural partnership because it’s ultimately about helping women feel comfortable, confident, and empowered.
M: What difference does good lingerie make to the way a woman feels and carries herself?
TD: The right lingerie can completely change how you feel. When you’re at ease and supported, it gives you an added sense of confidence that reflects in the way you carry yourself.
M: How would you define your personal style in three words?
TD: Effortless, comfortable, and timeless.
M: What’s the one thing that instantly makes you feel confident?
TD: Nothing makes me feel more confident than being comfortable in my own skin and staying true to myself.
M: What’s your non-negotiable beauty ritual?
TD: Keeping my skin hydrated and making sure I remove my makeup before going to bed, no matter how tired I am. I think taking care of your skin consistently is more important than anything else. I believe in the power of ghar ke nuskhe so some of those home remedies are sacrosanct for me.
M: What are the three essentials every woman should have in her ethnic wardrobe?
TD: A classic saree that never goes out of style, a versatile kurta set that works best as occasionwear, and a beautifully-crafted dupatta that can elevate any ethnic look.
M: Your idea of the perfect wedding guest look?
TD: Wear whatever you can dance comfortably in. Something elegant and comfortable. I think the best looks are the ones where you feel like yourself and can enjoy the celebration without worrying too much about what you’re wearing.
M: If you had to wear just one Indian silhouette forever, what would it be and why?
TD: That would be a saree. It’s timeless, beautiful and so versatile. You can style it in so many different ways and one can never go wrong with a saree.
M: What’s one wedding fashion trend you’re loving right now?
TD: The move towards understated elegance and personal style over excessive trends.
M: What does feeling beautiful mean to you today?
TD: Feeling confident, comfortable, and at peace with who I am.
