When it comes to shopping, the wrong zodiac pairing can turn a spree into a standoff—choose your aisle ally wisely.unsplash

Shopping while being an immersive experience-more like therapy-for most of us is supposed to be a fun outing. But like every other outing, your company can make or break the experience. Having the right kind of person with you on a shopping spree is of utmost importance because we all have that one friend who can turn shopping into the worst experience of our day by either taking too long with everything or making us doubt our choices.

And while choosing who to go shopping with is not such a tough decision, if you let your stars decide your company, it might turn your shopping experience into the best one because, believe it or astrology might have something to do with it. From indecisive air signs to impulsive fire signs, some zodiac signs are just not meant to roam the aisles together.

Five Zodiac Sign Pairings That Should Opt Out Of Shopping Together

    Aries and Virgo

Aries and Virgo are the worst pairings to go shopping together. A catastrophe in the making, an impulsive buyer shopping with an overthinker is the perfect recipe for a shopping spree gone wrong. Because while Aries shops like they only live once-fast, bold and purely on instinct, Virgo tends to read the label, compare three stores, check reviews and do it all over and think their purchase through. There are high chances for an Aries to get annoyed by a Virgo’s over-analysis, while the latter might fall into a panic mode at the Aries’ spontaneous spending, turning a casual shopping experience into mutual frustration.

    Taurus and Sagittarius

If you are looking for a buzz kill on a shopping adventure, your best bet would be to pair a Taurus and a Sagittarius together. A taurus loves leisure and loves to take their time with things be it falling in love with a person or an item and thus they enjoy a slow indulgent shopping experience where they can try everything at least twice while a Sagittarius does not like to be tied down and if they had to stay in a store for more than 10 minutes, they might just explode.

The clash is evident because a Taurus want to browse through the store thoughtfully and invest in only quality, while a Sagittarius has an itch to move to the next adventure, and the two are most likely to part ways midway through the spree.

    Gemini and Scorpio

Imagine putting a social butterfly and a man on a mission together on a shopping spree. A Gemini and Scorpio pairing on a shopping trip is just that. A chaos throughout, Gemini flits from rack to rack, chatting, laughing and asking for opinions while a Scorpio shops like they are on a mission-focused, intense and with no time and patience for distractions. A clash is obvious when the two are put together, as the Gemini might find Scorpio too intense, while Scorpio might think of the former as scattered, and the trip just ends up draining both their energies.

    Cancer and Aquarius

Putting a Cancer and an Aquarius together for an adventure like shopping is nothing but a mix of destruction. While Cancer is a sentimental cart, Aquarius is the unattached brain, and together, they can never do anything right because when Cancer is busy shopping based on emotion, memory and gifting impulses, Aquarius is more focused on analytical purchases, with their futuristic ideas. An Aquarius doesn’t understand the concept of buying things “just because.”

This mix might make Cancer feel judged for buying certain things that have an emotional connection for them, while an Aquarius might feel trapped in a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Therefore, an emotional disconnect means an awkward shopping trip.

    Leo and Capricorn

Yes, opposites attract, but when it comes to shopping, there is nothing that attracts a Leo and a Capricorn to each other. While one is a flashy spender, the other is a calculated buyer, and together they are a combination not made for each other. Leo wants everything statement- flashy bags, bold looks, but a Capricorn tends to check their budget app after every swipe that their card makes and questions the rate of interest of that rhinestone jacket. In such cases, the Leo might feel criticised, while the Capricorn might feel pushed to spend unnecessarily, making shopping a silent power struggle

When it comes to carts and credit cards, your stars might just be trying to tell you something. Therefore, shopping might seem like a mundane activity, but your personalities and your star signs can add a very distinct layer to the experience. So, the next time you plan a shopping spree, you must check your friend’s zodiac before setting out on that trip.
