These Zodiac Signs Need To Work On Their Gifting Skills

Don’t hold it against them though, it’s not in their stars!

Gift-giving is an art. It’s true that whether a gift is good or bad, all depends on the receiver. What might seem like a great gift to you might be a letdown for someone else. However, there’s no denying that gift-giving is a skill that is as elusive as it is desirable.

Some are naturally skilled at knowing what someone wants and always come through with their gifting choices. Then there are those who discovered the bland power of impersonal gift cards and assorted chocolate boxes and never looked back.

Like most things, this could be traced back to the traits we inherit from our zodiac signs. Some zodiac signs are naturally good at coming up with gifting ideas for the people around them while others end up with well-intentioned yet disappointing presents. Here are the four signs that are not the best gift givers (their heart is always in the right place!) and you can see if you’re amongst the ones…

DISCLAIMER: This is based on common and widely believed personality traits associated with zodiac signs, so discretion is advised while reading the following.

Zodiac Signs That Are The Worst Gift Givers

    Aries (March 21- April 19)

Spontaneous and adventurous Aries are the go-to people if you want to get anything done but don’t rely on them to give the most thoughtful of gifts. While their intentions might always be in the right place, Aries are not planners. This means that they often end up resorting to last-minute gifting ideas.

    Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Now it is not completely fair to put Geminis on this list but their unpredictable and (often) flighty nature makes their gifts a hit-and-miss more often than not. The people belonging to the zodiac signs are usually social butterflies and their friend list is bursting at the seams so it’s understandable that they cannot completely keep up with what could be special to whom.

    Leo (July 23-August 22)

Leos might be unflinchingly compassionate and big-hearted, but they also have a tendency to forget that the world doesn’t revolve around them. This is not super helpful when they’re thinking of gifts for people around them as they end up selecting presents that are more suitable to their needs than the receiver’s.

    Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

It’s no secret that Capricorns are not the most sentimental of people and so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to see them on this list. Don’t hold it against a Capricorn if they gift you something impersonal. They truly don’t know any better!

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
