Lady Gaga’s having the best time at the Paris Olympics. After delivering a memorable performance atop her stage on the River Seine at the opening ceremony for the event, the singer-actress is soaking in all the athletic prowess on display with her longtime boyfriend Michael Polansky.
During one such Olympic event, the Oscar-winning popstar was sitting with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, who decided to post a video of them hanging out in the stands on TikTok. Eagle-eyed fans, however, noticed something extra in the video that led to the speculations of Lady Gaga’s engagement status being put to rest.
In the short clip, the singer could be seen introducing her boyfriend Michael Polansky as her “fiancé” to the Prime Minister.
Rumours of the couple’s relationship had started surfacing back in late 2019 when the two were spotted getting close to each other in public. The relationship was made official that February when Lady Gaga posted a photo of the two on Instagram.
In April 2024, she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger, sparking reports of her engagement. While she didn’t confirm or deny it till now, the video from Paris is an announcement enough!
Lady Gaga’s fiancé is an entrepreneur who serves as the executive director of the Parker Foundation, co-founded by Facebook co-founder Sean Parker. The Harvard graduate is also on the board of the San Francisco-based Parker Institute of Cancer Immunotherapy, which works towards cancer treatment research. Michael Polansky is also building an app for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, which supports mental health initiatives.
