Sonam Kapoor and statement-making looks go hand in hand, and her recent outing in Paris was no different. The actress attended the Dior Spring/Summer 2025 showcase at the Paris Fashion Week in an ensemble from the label’s Cruise 2025 collection.

While the Wednesday Addams-esque outfit is going to occupy major real estate on our OOTD mood boards this season, the jewellery had all our attention.

Sonam paired her black dress and veil ensemble with oxidised tribal silver jewellery from Amrapali. The actress opted for a nose ring and a pair of asymmetrical earrings from the label. In one ear, she wore a combination of ear studs crafted in silver with an oxidised finish, decorated with floral motifs, stones and pearls, and a hand-painted Indigo dangling earring which was placed on her helix. On the other side, she wore an earring from the label’s latest collection ‘Kshiroda’, featuring three fish in mid-leap.

This tribal jewellery piece from the collection inspired by the 'Samudramanthan' - churning of the ocean in between Deva and Asura to release the nectar of immortal life, captures the essence of marine life.

"Since this collection is so raw and bold, these would style well with modern Indo- western dresses or evening wear," says Akanksha Arora, CEO of Tribe Amrapali, "You can always mix and match the pieces, go for layering, or just choose a chunky piece that alone will carry the entire look. Our collection has several such pieces, you can pick from."

Oxidised silver jewellery, with its distinct tarnished appearance, has always been a staple of boho-chic looks. Sonam’s choice of earrings with the look has inspired us to give them a try this wedding season. The earrings can make for a great foil when it comes to bright and vibrant Haldi or Sangeet outfits.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
