Janhvi Kapoor Pays Homage To Her South-Indian Roots In A Manish Malhotra Lehenga

For the promotions of her upcoming movie Param Sundari, Janhvi Kapoor has been sporting all kinds of traditional looks. From her ivory handloom saree to her pink Torani saree with the drape made entirely with jasmine flowers, Janhvi is having a lot of fun with her looks. Given that she’s playing a South-Indian girl in the movie, she is choosing to pay homage to her South-Indian roots with her promotional looks.

In another such look, she was recently seen wearing a custom-made gold Manish Malhotra handwoven tissue lehenga with the dupatta draped as a sari.  

The lehenga came with an embroidered blouse, and the dupatta, which had a broad border, was draped as a saree. To add to the drama, she added some extravagant temple jewellery—a dramatic kamarbandh. Additionally, she wore a traditional gold necklace, matching jhumkas, and bangles with a touch of green.

What’s more, she also wore a dainty nose ring. She kept the makeup polished, with nude lips, winged eyeliner and dramatic lashes. To continue her love affair with Mogras, she wore her hair in a middle-parted bun with gajra around it.
