Every tailored look at the Met Gala 2025 delivered and how

The first Monday in May marks the official start of the Met Gala. Celebrities and their stylists flock to New York City to showcase their most exquisite outfits and interpretations of the theme, which this year celebrates Black dandyism with the title 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style'. While I adore admiring the clothing and seeing what A-listers wear on the stairs, the true highlight of the event is the glamorous moments.
This year, there was a significant emphasis on sleek, sculptural hair. Vibrant colours and bold hairstyles largely replaced slicked-back buns.

Kiara Advani gave us a fluffy blowout with beachy curls, which BTW is a voluminous tip of the iceberg. But look at the tiny details on her nails, which are inspired by the Gaurav Gupta ensemble.

For her hair and make-up, Isha Ambani opted for a lengthy half-braid ponytail secured to one side, paired with tones of brown for a monochromatic make-up look.

Sydney Sweeney’s glam team went all out, adding two kiss curls and falsies to the bottom lash line.

Anne Hathaway is in her ponytail era in this high, tight ponytail which falls into gorg waves till her waist. The hair ensures her fresh, monotone pink make-up peeks through.

Gigi Hadid’s victory rolls were a solid 10/10. Her retro, half-up hairstyle perfectly complemented the elegant, old-fashioned vibe of her golden halter gown.

Dua Lipa opted for a slicked-back, sculptural style with kiss curls on the front. Her bun complemented the textured details throughout her outfit, while the show-stopping necklace stole the show.

We love a retro fabulous vibe. Jean Ortega is channelling goth glamour with a multi-dimensional, extended cat eye and a hyper-chic ombre brown pout.

Featuring old-Hollywood glamour, Mona Patel went for soft, smoky eyes and nude lips with a touch of modern glamour.
