Payal Singhal’s showcase ‘Tahzib’ could not get a better start as the Bollywood actress Shriya Saran opened the show with a Kathakperformance to the tunes of ‘In Aankhon ki Masti…’ on day 3 ofFDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week.

Ensembles glittered in old-world embroidery techniques such asZari,Lucknowi, MukaishandGotta Pattigive luxury, which is just what is needed for the upcoming festive season. The colours included sepia tones patina representing Mughal Art with detail of black and white embroideries. GoldMattha Pattis, Hathphoolsandnathscomplemented the collection.

The show ended with a performance by YouTuber and singer Vidya Vox, who was wearing a beautiful ivory Payal Singhal creation. Okay, we love it when fashion meets culture and performing arts, and this show did that beautifully!
