  • Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth Wedding

ICYMI, actors Siddharth Suryanarayan and Aditi Rao Hydari tied the knot with stunning visuals captured by photographer Joseph Radhik.

According to reports, the couple got married on September 16th  at the Ranganayakaswamy Temple in Wanarparthy district in Telangana. In case you didn’t know, Aditi Rao Hydari’s maternal grandfather was the last ruler of Wanarpathy and thus the family shares a special connection to the temple. The priest, however, was brought over from Siddharth’s home state of Tamil Nadu to feature a blend of both traditions and rituals.

The couple hadn’t confirmed or denied the reports of their nuptials, or even the fact that they have been dating since 2021. Despite this, they have been spotted together for public events over the years and are a regular feature on each other’s Instagram too.

Now that the two have revealed images from their dreamy wedding ceremony, we’ve decided to deep dive (for research purposes, of course) and put together a timeline of their relationship over the years…

Complete Timeline Of Aditi Rao Hydari And Siddharth’s Relationship

Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth met each other on the sets of their first film together, Ajay Bhupathi’s romantic action drama Maha Samudram in 2021. The actors grew close during the filming and, reportedly, began dating soon after.

After this, they started appearing at events together, including the engagement of A.R Rahman’s daughter and the audio launch of Ponniyin Selvan Part 1’s audio launch in 2022. And in 2023, while they were seeing one another, the couple was spotted attending the wedding of engagement Sharwanand and his partner Rakshita Reddy.

And the year before, Siddharth also took to Instagram to wish Aditi on her birthday. He wrote a special poem for her to accompany the adorable photo of the two. The poem as a caption on these birthday posts became a fixture as the actor repeated it the next year too.

Likewise, Hydari put together an adorable post calling Siddharth a 'Manicorn' for this birthday. Couple goals, right?

And amidst strong speculations about their relationship, the two decided to jump on the ‘Tum Tum’ reel trend. The video went viral instantly, further fuelling rumours about the two of them being together. The couple also posted a photo from their New Year’s trip together earlier this year, all but confirming the status of their relationship.

Finally, in March, Aditi Rao Hydari posted a picture announcing their engagement with them showing their rings. Though the account of how the proposal took place will have you teary-eyed! Apparently Siddharth got down on one knee and proposed to Aditi at a school in Hyderabad that had been founded by Hydari's maternal grandmother! The reason to choose the location was how much Aditi cherished the childhood memories related to hernaniand her school as well as to begin the next chapter of their lives with her blessings. How sweet and adorable, right?

And since then, the lovebirds have been spotted attending numerous events together.

From being spotted together on multiple occasions such as Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding, Heeramandi’s premiere, an Apple event in California and a L'Oreal Paris event earlier in May, Hydari and Suryanarayan have been out and about being quite the adorable couple.

Not to mention, like every adorable couple, the duo were seen travelling together in June this year to Italy after they announced their engagement!

For the wedding though, both Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth wore Sabyasachi. Hydari wore an elegant, yet understated handwoven Maheshwari tissue gathered skirt paired with a Banarasi tissue dupatta from the archives of the Sabyasachi Heritage Textile collection (better known as a Langa Voni, Langa Davani or Pavada Davani in Southern India), while her now-husband wore a traditional yet clearly luxurious silk kurta and traditional dhoti and veshti of his own!
