One of the most eagerly anticipated weeks for fashion enthusiasts (and serial wedding attendees) in the country just concluded and we’re still not over the sheer amount of breathtaking couture on display at theHyundai India Couture Weekthis time.
Every year, ICW gives us an idea of the trends we can expect to see everywhere during the following wedding season. For the 2024 edition, the designers showed us that bold exploration of silhouettes and colours is the way to go.

Major Bridal Wear Trends From Hyundai India Couture Week 2024
Nudes FTW

Pastels might have dominated the bridal colour palette for a while now, but this is the season for the nudes. Designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Falguni Shane Peacock, Rimzim Dadu and Gaurav Gupta showed that going for ivories and beige is the way to go.

One of the major trends we spotted this time was the subtle invasion of risqué silhouettes in the bridal wardrobe. Whether it’s corsets or cut-outs, the mantra is: If you’ve got it, flaunt it! Designers like Rimzim Dadu, Siddhartha Tytler, Roseroom by Isha Jajodia and Suneet Varma gave the trend their stamp of approval.
