Pastels might have dominated the bridal colour palette for a while now, but this is the season for the nudes. Designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Falguni Shane Peacock, Rimzim Dadu and Gaurav Gupta showed that going for ivories and beige is the way to go.

    Cut-outs all the way

One of the major trends we spotted this time was the subtle invasion of risqué silhouettes in the bridal wardrobe. Whether it’s corsets or cut-outs, the mantra is: If you’ve got it, flaunt it! Designers like Rimzim Dadu, Siddhartha Tytler, Roseroom by Isha Jajodia and Suneet Varma gave the trend their stamp of approval.

Blouses are out, corsets are in

On the runways of designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Jayanti Reddy, Dolly J and Roseroom by Isha Jajodia, we saw how you can bring out your favourite corset to pair with your sari or lehenga in unique ways this season.

    Is that a thigh-high slit?

Speaking of risqué trends we loved, the ‘sky’s out thighs out’ philosophy adopted by designers like Rahul Mishra, Falguni Shane Peacock and Dolly J was a standout.

    Head accessories

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.

    THE NEW BRIDE.
