Dear men, take notes...

As the two-day celebration of stunning menswear that was the FDCI India Men’s Weekend 2025 comes to an end, we bring to you some major inspiration for the grooms-to-be and serial wedding attendees this season, ICYMI.
Khanijo’s collection ‘Rajasthan Reverie’ takes inspiration from the romantic tale of Dhola and Maru, and embodies the grandeur of Rajasthan. In true Khanijo fashion, the collection featured impeccable tailoring while still keeping it fun. The intricate motifs inspired by the tale stood out in particular. Our favourite look, you ask? This beautiful metallic co-ord set with the most stunning motif on the jacket.

With his collection ‘Muraqqa’, JJ Valaya provided us with a much-needed splash of opulence and modern royalty. If you are a groom-to-be who would much rather stick to his roots and channel his inner royalty, this is just the collection for you. Intricately embroidered sherwanis, embroidered stoles, beautiful Nehru jackets, and printed kurtas offer some beautiful wedding fashion inspiration for men.

Men who love drama (lots of it) and dressing slutty should turn to Siddartha Tytler’s collection ‘Asphalt Jungle’ for some major inspiration. Man cleavage, snug cropped vests, lots of sheer—dear men, takes copious notes on slutty dressing. The dark colour palette, grungecore, fierce music, and the overall ominous vibe added to the drama.

As Rajesh Pratap Singh paid tribute to the free spirit of bikers, this collection somehow manages to showcase the grunge aesthetic of bikers, while still keeping it super elegant; to embody being tough, while showcasing something as beautiful as flawless craftsmanship.

Antar Agni’s collection ‘BRB’ featured rich craftsmanship, relaxed silhouettes, beautiful draping, and a neutral colour palette. If you’re a guy who wants his festive looks to be easy and breathable, Antar-Agni is just the brand for you. And this collection, in particular, you will love.

We would imagine men of culture would wear this collection—men who are soft-spoken, emotionally available, men who read, write poetry…With easy silhouettes combined with stunning bandhgalas and sherwanis, Shantnu & Nikhil’s ‘Mirage’ was very “opulent but make it chilled out”. Featuring sharp tailoring, beautifully draped stoles, sophisticated wide-leg pants, and a calming colour palette of ice blue, pastel pink, ivory and beige, this collection is as elegant as menswear gets.

Inspired by pearls and the grandeur of Jaipur’s architecture, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna’s ‘Akoya’ featured texture, intricate embellishments, velvet, man cleavage, a neutral colour palette of black, ivory and mocha, and a combination of structure and fluidity. For men who like to keep it glam, this collection would be a treat.
