When it comes to sartorial trends this season, we are noticing a slight shift towards all things playful and vibrant. With cobalt blue and sorbet hues being the biggest colour trends of the season, we’re embracing fun, and steering clear of neutrals. Just like our clothes, our makeup is also in its dopamine era right now, with trends like sparkly blue eyeshadow and lip liner claiming their territory. However, what’s interesting is that this “more is more” energy doesn’t extend itself to the nails this season.
Granted that we did see some OTT nail trends like chrome nails, 3D embellished nails, and patterned-french tip nails at the Met Gala this year, but for the most part, this year has been all about minimalistic nails so far. The manicure aesthetic of the season is all about simplicity, restraint, and an overall old-money vibe.

Instead of going for milky white nails or nude nails, you can skip wearing a colour altogether, embracing the natural colour of your nails. Keep your cuticles hydrated, buff your nails for a healthy shine, keep the length short for a “bare nails but better” look.
