Prakshi Fine Jewellery, the brainchild of entrepreneur Prakshi Sharma, was born out of a vision to make fine jewellery more wearable and versatile. It is known for its modular, handcrafted pieces made with natural diamonds and high-quality and pure gold. The brand reflects the spirit of a contemporary woman. Prakshi Sharma was born in India, surrounded by a rich heritage. She grew up with a wealth of creativity and art.

She started Prakshi Fine Jewellery in 2012 after she spent two years in New York City. She was trained by the best in the industry over the course of her learning journey. With Sharma's travels inspiring the designs for Prakshi Fine Jewellery, the pieces reflect ambition, craftsmanship and are effortlessly stylish. Prakshi is known to bring a fresh perspective to the evolving world of fine jewellery.

In this conversation with Manifest, Prakshi shares how her journey has been fulfilling and how jewellery does not just mean adornment, but it is about preserving emotions. She also highlights what people can expect from her showcase at FDCI Manifest Wedding Weekend.

Manifest: What has your journey in the industry been like so far? Any standout moments or lessons along the way?

Prakshi: The journey has been deeply fulfilling. Jewellery, for me, has never just been about adornment — it’s about preserving emotion, memory, and artistry. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with families across generations, and the most meaningful moments are always the quiet ones — when a bride wears her mother’s necklace, reimagined with our hands. If there’s one lesson that stands out, it’s that beauty is never rushed. It takes time, intention, and patience, just like the lives we celebrate through these jewels.

M: What goes into the making of your beautiful jewellery pieces? Can you walk us through the craftsmanship behind them?

P: It all begins with a story — sometimes rooted in tradition, sometimes sparked by a single stone. We work closely with master artisans, many of whom have inherited their skills through generations. From the first sketch to the final polish, each piece passes through a journey of precision and passion. CAD and CAM technology bring our designs to life with technical accuracy. Through casting, the form begins to take shape. Expert hands then take over — polishing, setting each stone with care, and finishing every curve to perfection. The process is meticulous, but that’s where the soul lies — in the time it takes to create something truly lasting.

M: In a space filled with talent and creativity, what do you believe sets your brand apart?

P: We don’t chase trends — we preserve meaning. Our brand is defined by quiet strength, emotional resonance, and craftsmanship that speaks for itself. Each design carries an old-world grace, but always with an element that feels unexpected or deeply personal. Whether it’s the way we pair colour with gold, or how a piece rests on the skin — it’s in these subtleties that our identity comes alive.

M: From your perspective, which trends are currently shaping the jewellery landscape, and how are they evolving?

P: There’s a beautiful return to sentiment. Brides today are looking for pieces that tell a story — not just for the wedding day, but for life beyond. Layered heirloom styles, coloured stones like emeralds and rubies, and personalised detailing are becoming increasingly sought after. There’s also a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship and authenticity — pieces that are made slowly, with care. I believe the future of jewellery lies in meaningful permanence, not momentary shine.

What can we expect from the label at the FDCI Manifest Wedding Weekend?

We’re presenting a collection that reflects our core philosophy — timeless beauty with a personal soul. Expect classic silhouettes reinterpreted with subtle drama: natural diamonds paired with regal emeralds, hand-finished textures, and designs that echo both memory and modernity. It’s a tribute to the Indian bride — poised, rooted, and quietly powerful.
