AK|OK Anamika Khanna just closed the day 1 at the Lakmē Fashion Week in collaboration with FDCI, and it’s safe to say that our new-found love for easy, relaxed silhouettes can be attributed solely to this beautiful collection. Versatility, fluidity, impeccable craftsmanship reigned supreme, with a beautiful color palette of ecru, browns, dusty pinks, deep blacks and reds. The collection had a variety of silhouettes, from draped dresses and sleek gowns to relaxed co-ord sets to oversized, structured jackets.

A noteworthy addition that AK|OK made to their collection this season is the introduction of menswear. And might we add, we’d love to see more men embrace the AK|OK aesthetic. If you’re the kind of man who likes to keep it super relaxed and easy when it comes to ceremonial fashion, aka, the-sherwanis-with-sneakers-kind, AK|OK is the way to go. If an OTT bandhgala covered in traditional zari embroidery does not sound like your idea of a relaxed traditional look, we suggest this ivory bandhgala with relaxed trousers. And the patter on the jacket? Love!
Speaking of menswear, we vehemently believe that men should start embracing certain things that they have shied away from for the longest time. Like pinks, or lace, or ruffles, or fringes. Case in point: this beautiful fringed look!
