A celebration of India’s most celebrated bridal designers, it represented a careful blend of heritage craftsmanship to modern silhouettes and offered a Kaleidoscope of bridal dreams. This year’s standout lehenga trends were all about the opulence and craft with innovation, movement and style with personality.

It does not matter whether you are a bride-to-be or a bridesmaid in the making; this guide to the top lehenga trends that set the stage for FMWW 2025 is all you need before your big day!

Lehenga Trends That Stood Out at The FDCI Manifest Wedding Weekend 2025

Pearl Embellished

A trend that has made it through the years and is still the biggest hit at every fashion event, Pearls are anticipated to be a major win this year. Something that you can never go wrong with, pearls have their reigns tight over the fashion universe and not just across jewellery and accessories but a part of your ensemble, taking the shape of surface ornamentation. From Tarun Tahiliani to Suneet Varma, pearl embroidery was everywhere at FMWW 2025

Corsets

There is no trend that we will swear by more than this one. A best friend for all the big names in the world of fashion, corsets have been around and about since forever, and the FMWW was sure to reflect that love for these as designers from Roseroom by Isha Jajodia, Tarun Tahiliani, to Varun & Nidhika showcased their iconic designs.

Red

A little red never harmed anyone, and the FDCI Manifest Wedding Weekend was just all about it. Red lehengas never go out of style, and when you talk about brides and bridal wear, a red lehenga becomes a must-have and that was observed across the collections of various designers-from Amit Aggarwal to JJ Valaya and Rohit Bal, the weekend was painted red. And while bridal wear without red is not complete, this year’s FMWW edition proved that even the groomswear would be incomplete without red.

Sheer

One thing that was for sure at this year’s FMWW was that sheer was in and was here to stay. While we do not expect them to just replace all the traditional bridal wear, sheer lehengas are creating a space of their own in the bridal and groomswear collection. From Ritu Kumar to Rohit Bal, the weekend witnessed a lot of sheer drama, and we are all in for it
