Launched in 2021, the brand has made a niche for itself amongst mindful beauty enthusiasts with its Ayurveda-inspired offerings.

The lawyer-turned-influencer sought to create a bridge between Ayurveda and modern science with her beauty and skincare products while championing inclusivity and sustainability. Recently, the brand unveiled a collection of Dewy Lip Tints. The vegan formula is supposed to be nourishing and hydrating and comes in two shades: ‘Glazed Jalebi’ and ‘Wedding Rose’.

In Conversation With Diipa Büller Khosla

Manifest: Inde Wild has truly redefined mindful skincare. How far do you think the brand has come from its inception till now?

Diipa Büller Khosla: indē wild has come a long way since its inception, redefining mindful skincare by bridging Ayurveda and modern science. Our mission to create natural, effective, and inclusive skincare has resonated deeply with a global audience, collecting new fans with every product launch. Each campaign and viral product reflects our commitment to this philosophy and the success of our core values upholding it.

M: Tell us about the new launch. What inspired you to create a collection of lip tints?

DK: The new lip tints are inspired by the concept of effortless beauty with a touch of nourishment. I wanted to create something versatile—products that could double as makeup and skincare, seamlessly blending hydration with vibrant colour.  We chose the colour of a rose for a lighter pink option and glazed jalebi for a darker brown tone option - opposite but both useful in their own ways.

M: Lip tints surpassed the popularity of lipsticks in 2024. Can you help us decode the reason behind their popularity? Are lip tints the new lipsticks?

DK: Lip tints are gaining popularity because they’re lightweight, multipurpose, and cater to the demand for a more natural aesthetic. While they may not completely replace lipsticks, they offer a refreshing alternative, especially for those prioritising minimalism and hydration while still having the luxury of acting as a makeup product.

M: We love how the tints nourish while also pulling double duty as makeup. Can you break down your lip care routine?

DK: My lip care routine is simple yet intentional. I start with gentle exfoliation, followed by a deeply hydrating balm. To finish, I apply one of our tints, which not only adds a pop of colour but keeps my lips nourished throughout the day.

M: Why, according to you, should these tints be a staple in the beauty kits of brides and other wedding attendees? And which is the one that you would recommend for brides this season out of the two tints?

DK: Our lip tints are perfect for weddings because they offer a buildable colour that stays radiant from the ceremony to the reception. It’s small but effective and works on the go. For brides this season, I’d recommend the pink shade of Wedding Rose - it enhances natural beauty while providing a bold, elegant touch.

M: What have been some recent beauty trends that have caught your attention for the right reasons?

DK: The shift towards skinimalism and multipurpose products has been exciting to see. It’s a move towards celebrating natural beauty while being mindful of sustainability and simplicity.

M:  Do you have a go-to hack to apply the tints that you’d like to share with our readers?

DK: For a soft, diffused look, I use it as a blush for a monochromatic glow— since the ingredients are all natural you can use this lip tint on any part of the face. Thus making this blush alternative quick, easy, and incredibly chic!
