In recent years, perfume brands have steadily blurred the lines between “for him” and “for her.” Gender-neutral and unisex launches are now among the fastest-growing categories in luxury fragrance, with houses like Byredo, Le Labo, and Maison Margiela leading the way. A Mintel report earlier noted that nearly half of young consumers now prefer scents that are not marketed by gender.  This also shows a shift that people are into the scent that has more to do with personality and notes than packaging.

Alia Bhatt, for instance, revealed in an interview that she gravitates towards men’s fragrances, often layering Armani Code with Bleu de Chanel. Similarly, Byredo’s Gypsy Water, beloved by Sonam Kapoor and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, has become the emblem of understated, unisex sophistication with its mix of sandalwood, vanilla, lemon, and smoky campfire notes. So we’re done choosing between “for him” and “for her.” Here meet the bottles that smell good on absolutely everyone.
