    Skin prep like a pro

“The first step to working on any kind of skin type is to make sure that the skin is well-washed, it’s been cleansed, then you can go in with a toner of your choice, or a BHA exfoliant, followed by a niacinamide (or any other kind of serum that suits you best), just to make sure that the actives are working on your skin. Follow this with an eye cream, and dab it over the area gently. Then, allow it to sit for 10 minutes and then start your make-up application,” Namrata says, tells us as she explains that the make-up will glide on your skin once you prep it properly!

Go all out with the shine and shimmer

As for other ways to ‘dress’ up the eye, the make-up artists advise using shimmery shades. “Use lovely, shimmery shades like rose gold, and soft bronzes with a lovely outline of black close to the lash line with your kajal pencil,.” Namrata tells us. She adds, “If you’ve done a smokey eye, instead of putting a black kajal on the waterline of your eye, apply a lovely rose gold there. And vice versa, if you've created a softer look, use the kajal on your eye’s waterline to create a contrast.”

    How-To-Do-Blush-101

“Use your blush more high up on your cheeks to create a more snatched look, apply it on the ridge of your nose, and a little bit on the chin to create a sun-kissed look. You can also add a layer of powder blush on top of your cream blush to make it last longer through the night,” she explains as she discusses with us how one can use the blush in maximum capacity.

    The Lip-Liner Hack

As for how to enhance the lips, celebrity make-up artists tell us to turn our attention to lip liners. “Use a beautiful pink or brown lip liner all over your lips, create the desired shape you like, however big or small you’d like your lips to be, and then fill it up with the perfect nude lipstick. For me, that would be the Satin Soft Lip Crème from Simply Nam.”
