From Mediterranean escapes to a Brigitte Bardot-style holiday in St. Tropez, here’s what to wear underneath it all—before, during, and after the vows...

These are the Bridal Lingerie and Swimwear Brands to Know

Shivan & Narresh

Few brands have redefined India’s swim vocabulary quite like Shivan & Narresh. Known for its itsy-bitsy trikinis, colour-blocked maillots, and the now-ubiquitous bikini saris and lehengas, the designer label has turned swimwear into the main event of the wedding wardrobe and beyond. Brides who treat the honeymoon as a continuation of the celebration — just with fewer relatives and more cocktails — will find plenty to pack: bikinis in art-inspired prints, fringed paneyo cover-ups, and Instagram-ready accessories (see: duck-shaped bags and braided straw visors) that travel as well as they photograph

La Perla

No one understands luxury quite like Italians —and the same holds true for La Perla. Founded in Bologna in 1954 by corset-maker Ada Masotti, the brand took its name from the red velvet boxes— often used for jewellery — that once held its delicate creations. Today, La Perla’s bridal capsule is the embodiment of lingerie dreams: silk satin camisoles, cashmere-blend nightgowns, and lace-edged bras designed to be worn (and loved) on repeat. The palette stays true to tradition — ivory, cream, and blush — with the occasional blue bow or pearl detail as a finishing touch.

Butt-Chique

Bridal lingerie list is incomplete without fitting foundation pieces. Whether you’re wearing a backless blouse for the pheras or packing a slinky dress for your honeymoon, Butt- Chique has you covered. The homegrown label is known for its sculpting bodysuits, seamless shorts, and stick-on solutions that are roll-free and undetectable. Think of it as your secret styling weapon: discreet, effective, and designed to move with you from the aisle to the afterparty.

Dolce & Gabbana

Much like its ready-to-wear, Dolce & Gabbana’s take on lingerie and swimwear is anything but demure. Its conical bras, panties, and slip dresses are trimmed in lace, embroidered with rosettes that feel as if they’re lifted from Sicilian tapestries, and one is even embellished with micro sequins. The swimwear follows suit: leopard-printed monokinis spotted on Kim Kardashian, sculpted silhouettes with Carretto cart-inspired prints, and peony-patterned bikinis you can match with a playsuit or a dress. All made for brides who love pure Italian excess.

Savage x Fenty

Rihanna has never been one for tradition—and in April, she entered bridal territory on her own terms. Savage X Fenty’s first wedding collection includes cupcake-pink bustiers, cut-out thongs, tulle veils, and a baby blue bikini that reads ‘Kiss the Mrs’. Also in the mix: silk robes and sleep sets in inclusive sizing, designed as much for the getting-ready selfie as for the ceremony. The campaign, fronted by the Grammy-winning star in retro lingerie and a giant diamond ring, teased fans with the obvious question: Is Rihanna getting married?

Agent Provocateur

Agent Provocateur

Started by Vivienne Westwood’s son Joseph Corré and his then-wife Serena Rees, Agent Provocateur redefined sexy lingerie in the ’90s. Its top fans? Beyoncé and Victoria Beckham. Today, the label still sells its cult classics: balconette bras (the ‘Lorna’ is a celebrity favourite), cheeky corsets, tulle knickers, and sequinned pasties — but with a 2025 twist. Our bridal favourites? Thongs, bras, and suspenders inspired by Rococo cakes, and cupid-shaped charms to clip onto your honeymoon bikini.

Ookioh

If you want honeymoon swimwear with planet-friendly credentials, Vivek Agarwal’s brand Ookioh delivers. Its sporty, '90s-inspired suits are made from regenerated fabrics derived from ocean waste. Choose from the brand’s pasta-printed bikinis, popsicle-orange bralettes, and aqua blue swimsuits that work just as well with a pair of jeans as they do on their own. Perfect for a Capri escape or a just-married beach picnic.

Verandah

If your honeymoon moodboard includes The White Lotus (2025), then Verandah fits the frame. The show’s latest season even featured designs from the Goa-based label, known for its hand-beaded kaftans, vacation-ready dresses, and swimsuits in mood-lifting prints. Made in small batches with artisanal precision, it’s the first Indian brand to receive the Butterfly Mark certification—shared by luxury names like Etro, Louis Vuitton, and Dior. This recognition comes from the brand’s commitment to sustainability: all the garments are crafted using production waste, renewed biodegradable yarns, and Global Organic Textile Standard-certified organic cotton.

Skims

Kim Kardashian’s label Skims is so popular that it has inspired a whole range of dupes. In 2023, the label launched its wedding shop with a shoot inspired by Las Vegas chapels from the 1960s and some of its bestsellers updated in baby blue, white, and pink. All designed to be worn throughout the wedding celebrations and beyond — think shapewear for your cocktail gowns, slip dresses for the wedding night, and ultra-soft loungewear to gift your bridesmaids.

IZSI

You can spot Izsi’s swimsuits from a mile away thanks to the brand’s signature swirl and poppy prints. Since its inception in 2019, the New Delhi-based label has expanded into ready-to-wear and accessories that embody a beach-going lifestyle. What’s even better? You can grab a fun dress, a kaftan, or a printed scrunchie, and match your look with your plus-one. Compliments (and cute photos) guaranteed.
