Beauty is going through a phase of ‘more is more’. We are back to excess, and I love it. Big hair energy is everywhere; gloss is reigning supreme, and extra AF manicures are dominating our feeds. But one that’s slowly climbing up the ladder is extrait de parfum.
All of us know about eau de toilette and eau de parfum but extrait perfumes are ‘intense’ and more powerful. Also, it’s more bang for your buck. We are so glad that the more-is-more mentality is making its way through fragrance because one spends a lot on clothes and accessories. We think it's the same with perfumes.
The more concentrated the scent, the stronger the projection, AKA sillage, will be... It will linger on further as the price rises. And don’t we all want to leave a trail behind with a scent that is our signature?

Extrait De Parfums vs Eau de Parfums And Eau de Toilette

For most folks, their collection is filled with Eau de parfums (aka EDPs). EDPs contain 15-20 percent fragrance oil, making it a versatile pick which has a decent, long-lasting power. While eau de toilette (aka EDT), on the other hand, contains around 10 percent fragrance oil, making it a lighter. But an extrait contains 20- 40 percent pure fragrance oils, making it potent. A spritz or two is enough (literally!).
