As a part of the 'So Happy It Hurts Tour', singer and composer Bryan Adams will be touring throughout the country...
Picture this: A date night where you are reliving core childhood memories, while love songs which remind you of your bae, play in the background. Growing up, we have all jammed to ‘Summer of ‘69’ and ‘Here I Am’, with Bryan Adams effectively pulling at our heartstrings.
The Canadian singer-songwriter will be back in India after five years with his So Happy It Hurts tour in December 2024. And his excitement knows no bounds as he shares, “I am very happy to be on tour again… I’m not sure how many times we’ve toured India, but we were the first Western band to play a big gig here in the early nineties, so we are staying true to our tradition of loving India!”
The singer who also moonlights as a photographer will be playing in Shillong on 10th December and is all set to take the stage in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gurugram and Hyderabad. And for Adams, he shares that he honestly doesn’t have a solid routine. He loves his food, especially his dal [lentils] as he fondly calls it and usually “just has a cup of tea and nibbles on something before I go on the stage.”
Coming to love, for Adams, it’s difficult to describe but he tells Manifest, “Love is love and will always be so difficult to describe but all I can say is it’s such an inspiration.” As much as Bryan loves to be on the move, he truly enjoys relaxing and unwinding and adds, “It is the travel, going on long endless journeys and being in different time zones that are difficult. But, one needs to have to balance their lives… I am happy with this life but I’m also equally elated to just be barefoot in my garden too.”
Having been in the industry since 1976 as a singer he has also recently forayed into films. “I’m very happy in my lane, occasionally I foray off and particularly I’ve been working as a film composer which I am enjoying.” It’s no secret that he loves music and he has immense respect for those who can make it “into this crazy business” and believes that “some of the newer artists have changed the music paradigm, and raised the bar so high such as Coldplay” which is all set to perform in Mumbai in January 2025.
Honestly, we think there is no better time to go down on your knee and ask the question or simply form a core memory with your partner. What do you think?!
