Double congratulations are in order for the Akkinenis this week. Not only is Naga Chaitanya tying the knot with Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4th, but Nagarjuna’s second son Akhil Akkineni has also announced his engagement!
The Hello actor is engaged to be married to artist Zainab Ravdjee. Akhil announced the engagement on Instagram, sharing a set of photos with his fiancée as they pose in a green garden in coordinated outfits.
“Found my forever,” wrote Akhil in the caption to the post, adding, “Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged.”
Nagarjuna, too, shared the photos on his social media to congratulate the happy couple. “We couldn't be happier to welcome Zainab into our family. Please join us to congratulate the young couple and wish them a lifetime filled with love, joy, and countless blessings (sic).”
While more details of the engagement ceremony and the upcoming wedding are yet to be revealed, Nagarjuna confirmed in an interview that it will happen in 2025.

Zainab Ravdjee is a well-known artist and art exhibitionist, who is known for her abstract and impressionist works. Her Instagram bio also credits her as a bespoke perfumer. She is also the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee and the sister of Zain Ravdjee, the chairman and Managing Director of ZR Renewable Energy Pvt. Ltd.
