Manifest visited Auto Expo on its last day and while it may have been chaotic… It was worth it! Held at Bharat Mandapam, in the heart of the capital–the Auto Expo was filled with amazing, new launches but the MG Cyberster and MG M9 are two showstoppers to choose from!

The moment we entered the arena, we saw a large setup called the MG Motors Select–mimicking the entire experience of buying a car at a showroom—the setup was housed with luxe features. A pristine, expansive space—there was a dedicated area for lounging while your bae could check out the cars.

However, our question to begin with: Do you like fast cars? And when you’re travelling you likely to be comfortable in a cosy manner?

We do too, and that’s why MG Cyberster caught our attention. It is India’s First all-electric Roadster. When we first saw it, it looked like a sports car—so luxe, sexy, and distinctive. Yet, it is discerning—engineered to ensure safety, the built-in Dual Radar sensors on each door provide protection sideways and upwards while opening.

The car features scissor doors, operating from a single-touch button! Hello, if you won’t feel like a Catwoman from DC movies then what is the even point?! Not only that, the doors open and shut within a window time of five seconds. Despite the car being electronically driven, the MG Cyberstar has lightning-fast acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. What more could you ask for? For the Morris Garages enthusiasts, the car features an aerodynamic Kammback design, the electric vehicle comes with the industry’s slimmest 77 kWh battery pack, with a thickness of just 110 mm.

And if you are planning to start your family soon or you’re a person who only believes in the adage that ‘bigger is better’, may we suggest the M9. It is India’s first electric three-row presidential limousine. May we say it is luxury on wheels and our favourite feature happens to be the touchscreen armrest on reclining ottoman seats.

Oh also, the ottoman seats have 8 massage modes and 3-zone climate control to ensure you are as comfortable as you can be. With a quiet cabin-like atmosphere, you can also watch movies because the vibes are pretty comparable to a theatre with crisp audio. And for the young kids, who love to enjoy the air in the open, the M9 boasts a panoramic sunroof and front-opening skylight.
