The new parents’ club is flourishing and how. Actor Ram Charan and his entrepreneur wife Upasan Konidela who were recently blessed with twins, took to their social media handles on Instagram to share the first peek of their newborn twins. On their 14th anniversary, the couple shared a joint Instagram post featuring a photograph that captured the hands of their three children. They captioned the post, “Heart is full”, with an infinity emoji.

The post gave their fans the first glimpse of all their children together, including their elder daughter, Klin Kaara, who was born in June 2023, along with the new twins—a boy, Shivram and a girl, Anveera Devi.

Previously in an interview with Variety, Ram Charan had explained the meaning behind their twin’s names. He had revealed that Shivram reflects devotion and lineage, while Anveera, he had shared, was a combination of two words, Veera signifying bravery, and An expanding it to something limitless.

He had further added that Shivram’s name draws from Lord Shiva and Lord Rama and symbolises strength with restraint and righteousness with compassion. He also shared that the name carries forward his father’s birth name, Shiv Shankar Vara Prasad. For Anveera’s name, Ram had shared that the Devi was intentional—a reminder that strength and grace can co-exist. “For us, these names are not just identifiers. They are aspirations of strength, love and courage.”

Upasana had also earlier spoken about becoming a mother to twins for the second time. She had described the experience as calmer and more conscious. “The first time, everything is new—beautiful, but overwhelming. This time, I feel much more relaxed and grounded. I’ve learned to let go and not panic over small things anymore,” she said. “There’s an extraordinary sense of fulfilment watching all three of my children together. Ram has been incredibly hands-on, especially with Kaara. For us, making sure each child feels equally loved and secure is what truly makes the difference,” she said.

Ram Charan and Upasana got engaged in December of 2011 and later tied the knot in June 2012. Their love story had blossomed after years of friendship.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
