    The former Miss A member made her debut in 2011 with Dream High and has, since then, garnered awards and recognition for her work in popular K-dramas like Start-Up and Uncontrollably Fond.

    This slice-of-life rom-com follows a group of start-up founders looking to make it big in South Korea’s fictional Silicon Valley. Bae Suzy’s Seo Dal-mi, an aspiring entrepreneur, dreams of becoming the next Steve Jobs. She becomes involved in a love triangle between Nam Do-san, the founder of Samsan Tech, and Han Ji-pyeong, a team leader at SH Venture Capital.

    While You Were Sleeping (2017)

    Bae Suzy’s performance in this legal romance drama earned her the Baeksang Award for Most Popular Actress-Television that year. In the show, she plays Nam Hong-joo, a field reporter who has the ability to see the future through her dreams. She works alongside rookie prosecutor Jung Jae-chan (Lee Jong-suk) and police officer Han Woo-tak (Lee Sang-yeob), both of whom share similar psychic abilities. The three come together to take down a corrupt lawyer using their powers. The show has everything from legal drama to supernatural elements to a love triangle.

    Over the years, this drama has earned a special place in the hearts of fans. In the show, Bae Suzy stars alongside fellow idol-turned-actors IU and OK Taec-yeon. It follows the lives of students enrolled in an academy who dream of becoming K-pop idols.

    Uncontrollably Fond (2016)

    If you love stories about second chances in love, this one is perfect for you. In the drama, childhood sweethearts Shin Joon-young (Kim Woo-bin) and Noh Eul (Bae Suzy) get separated when their ill-fated love story comes to an end. Years later, the two are reunited when Noh Eul, who is a documentary filmmaker, is tasked with working on a documentary on singer-actor Joon-young.
