IU is returning to the small screen with the Netflix drama When Life Gives You Tangerines. Popular actor Park Bo-gum will be starring opposite the singer. Towards the end of the month, we’ll get another Lee Dong-wook workplace romance where he plays a cynical team leader whose beliefs are challenged because of love (fans of Touch Your Heart, assemble!).

This ongoing drama is set in a mountain valley at a potato research centre. It follows Kim Mi-kyung, a researcher obsessed with all things potatoes, and the facility’s new director, the pragmatic So Baek-ho. Sparks fly when the two opposite personalities have to come together to work on a secret project.

When Life Gives You Tangerines
In this highly anticipated Netflix drama, IU stars alongside Park Bo-gum. Set in the 1950s on Jeju Island, the story follows childhood frenemies Ae-sun and Gwan-sik. The drama charts their slowly blossoming love story throughout the changing seasons throughout the years.

Heo’s Diner
If you love dramas about time travel and romance, you cannot miss this one. It follows the titular Heo-gyun, a liberal thinker with a photographic memory who is also the Joseon era’s first food writer. His progressive views land him in trouble, and he is soon sentenced to die. Just as he is about to be killed, he travels 400 years into the future and lands in modern-day Seoul. His background with food allows him to work in a restaurant along with a woman who helps him adjust to his new reality. The drama stars two K-pop group members, Xiumin from Exo and Exy from WSJN.

Based on a popular BL webtoon, the story follows 18-year-old Hee-su whose world revolves around his best friend Chan Young, who also happens to be his secret crush. Now, he has become the entire school’s go-to love guru. But can he dispense good relationship advice when he himself has no idea what to do about his crush?

His cynical perspective is challenged when he meets his new colleague, Kang Han-deul, an underwriter who recently got a divorce.
