Celebrity weddings have become a major source of wedding inspiration, and it’s no surprise to see them occupying major real estate on mood boards. Whether it’s for ‘carefully candid’ shots that they want to recreate at their own wedding or a hairdo that would go perfectly with the wedding dress they’ve finalised, celebrity weddings are a source of some of the most popular pins of the wedding side of Pinterest.
A recent study done by Chicago-based destination wedding planning service Destify revealed the 15 most popular celebrity weddings for Pinterest moodboards around the world. With 728 Pinterest boards and 49,692 pins, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding came out at the top of the list.
The wedding, which took place in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, has caught the imagination of many a romantic-to-be-wed, as evidenced by the number of times it has been pinned on the website. From Meghan’s sleek white Givenchy wedding gown to their lush white and green floral decor, the royal wedding is a clear favourite on Pinterest.
As it turns out, the former royal bride was also an avid Pinterest user and spent a lot of time on the platform in the run-up to her wedding. On the Gloss Angeles podcast, her close friend and make-up artist, Daniel Martin, shared that he and Meghan had “exchanged a few Pinterest pictures over text” while prepping for the big day.

Following not so closely behind on the list is Jennifer Lopez, whose four weddings (and stunning wedding gowns) have racked up 21,100 pins. Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 2008 Tribeca wedding occupies the third spot with 11,005 pins and 108 boards.
Other celebrities that rounded up the list included Hailey Bieber, Blake Lively, Victoria Beckham and Paris Hilton.
