Aadar Jain’s Beach Proposal Is One For The Romantics
Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani’s engagement has already been blessed by the ~*stars*~
While we love a low-key yet thoughtful engagement story, there’s a part of us that still squeals at the sight of an all-out romantic wedding proposal! Think: an ungodly amount of rose petals, big production and, of course, the whole getting on one knee to seal the deal.
Aadar Jain clearly got the memo as he whisked away his girlfriend, now fiancée, Alekha Advani to the Maldives to pop the question, complete with the works.
The actor took to Instagram to share the heartwarming photos from the beach proposal, calling Alekha his “first crush” and “best friend”.

If you’re someone who is a sucker for romance, you need to bookmark Aadar’s post for inspiration. The actor got down on one knee on the white sand beach, atop a heart made out of rose petals, with “Marry Me” spelt out in LED lights.

Aadar’s cousins Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor joined the hundreds of people writing in to congratulate the happy couple and send in their love. Aadar and Alekha made their relationship Instagram official in November 2023, when Aadar shared a photo of their interlocked hands with the caption “Light of my life”.
The actor’s proposal plan is right up there with some of the most popular wedding proposal trends of 2024. Destination proposals came back with a vengeance after the pandemic, with many couples deciding to turn their getaways into something extra special.

It could be a place that’s close to the couple’s heart, like Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s Masai Mara trip that ended in Ranbir proposing to her, or something classically romantic like Aadar’s choice of popping the question at a beach in the Maldives, a popular destination for proposals around the world.
