Actor-Producer Vishal Gets Engaged to Actress Sai Dhanshika In An Intimate Ceremony

Tamil fans are celebrating today as actor-producer Vishal announced his engagement to actress Sai Dhanshika. What made the announcement even more special was the timing. The ceremony, an intimate affair-took place on the 48th birthday of the producer, making it an occasion for double celebration.

All About Vishal-Dhanshika’s Engagement

Vishal had taken to his handle on X and posted about the announcement, along with a series of dreamy photographs from the engagement ceremony. He had also shared a heartfelt note of gratitude along with the images. “Thank u all, you darlings from every nook and corner of this universe for wishing and blessing me on my special birthday. Happy to share the good news of my #engagement that happened today with @saidhanshika amidst our families. Feeling positive and blessed. Seeking your blessings and good vibes as always,” he wrote.

The engagement was held at Vishal’s residence and was a private affair attended by the couple’s close family and friends. Following the Tamil Hindu traditions, the couple incorporated the nischitartham ritual, which marks the formal betrothal in South Indian culture. 

The photos that Vishal had shared quickly went viral. In the first picture, Vishal was captured dressed in a white shirt and veshti, standing proudly with Dhanshika, while she looked radiant in a traditional saree. Both wore garlands around their necks, and Vishal had his arm wrapped around his bride-to-be. Another picture was a close-up of the two exchanging rings, and the third image showed them surrounded by family members.

Though the announcement might have come as a surprise, the rumours about their romance had already been making the rounds for some time. In May 2025, Dhanshika had subtly hinted that their wedding plans were underway, while during the Yogi Da press meet, she had opened up about her relationship with Vishal. “I’ve known Vishal for about 15 years, and he has always shown me respect whenever we met. During a difficult time in my life, he personally came to my home and spoke up for me. No other hero has ever done that. His gesture was truly kind and heartwarming.”

Vishal also has never shied away from expressing his admiration for the actress. At the same event, he had referred to Dhanshika as a wonderful person. “They say God saves the best for the last, and I believe he saved Dhanshika for me. We are going to lead a positive and lovely life,” he had said.
