Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran All Set To Tie The Knot? Veteran Actor Mahendra Settles Rumours

There’s been an ongoing buzz about his wedding, and now speculations can be put to rest if news reports ring true. Music composer Anirudh Ravichander may be set to marry Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO Kavya Maran. Ravichander’s uncle and actor Y Gee Mahendra HAS revealed that the music composer is all set to marry his long-time partner.

The confirmation came during a recent interview with KPTV, when Mahendra congratulated his nephew and went on to describe the wedding as a sure thing. While appearing on Kutty Padmini’s KPTV channel, the veteran actor described Anirudh as a very soft boy, and then he went on to congratulate the music composer on his forthcoming wedding. He said, “I would like to take this moment to congratulate him. He is getting into a very big wedding. Based on what I’ve been told, it’s a sure thing. They are getting married.” 

Mahendra also then praised Kavya and said she was “not an ordinary girl.” He talked about how well she was managing a major IPL franchise and had inherited her father’s business acumen. He further added that Anirudh and Kavya made a good pair and could indulge in the music business together. He shared: "From what I've heard, they are going to get married. That girl is not just another ordinary girl. She has the capacity to handle such a big team (SRH). She has inherited her father's business genes. They're a good pair. Both of them should get together and indulge in musical business."

However, despite the actor’s remarks on the wedding, neither Anirudh nor Kavya has given any official statement on their wedding plans and have remained rather silent. There have also not been any announcements regarding their relationship or a potential marriage.

Nonetheless, this is not the first time the two have been linked together. In 2025, a Reddit post claimed that the two had been dating for over a year and were also planning to marry. The viral post further alleged that superstar Rajnikanth, who is family to Anirudh, had also met Kavya’s father, media baron Kalanithi Maran, to discuss their relationship. However, Anirudh had dismissed all the rumours on X and had said, “Marriage ah? lol .. Chill out guys, pls stop spreading rumours.” He also did not address the rumours that linked him and Kavya.
