From their Manish Malhotra outfits to the songs they met each other on – The duo’s wedding became an iconic one to look back on.

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot exactly one year ago today, and their wedding is still a gift that keeps on giving if you’re planning your own nuptials.. From their viral entry moment to little details like her personalised kaleeras, the images from Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding day can easily serve as a Pinterest board for couples everywhere.
Sidharth and Kiara, reportedly, met each other in 2018, after the actress had wrapped up the Netflix series Lust Stories. In 2019, rumours of them dating each other began surfacing, especially after they were spotted travelling together multiple times. It was also the same year the two signed Shershaah together.

After many joint vacations and innuendo-filled Koffee With Karan episodes, the couple hard-launched their relationship by sharing their wedding photographs on Instagram. They tied the knot at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
On their second anniversary, we decided to look back on all the details of their wedding that make it occupy permanent real estate on our mood boards…
You’d have to be living under an exceptionally large rock if you aren’t aware of Kiara’s bridal entry. During the now-iconic moment, the bride walked towards the groom as a happier original cover of the song ‘Ranjha’, from their movie Shershaah. Kiara Not only that but the way Sidharth Malhotra responded by jokingly looking at his wristwatch was majorly endearing!

Kiara Advani wore a custom-designed pink lehenga by Manish Malhotra, featuring intricate marodi and zardozi embroidery in silver and gold, along with real Swarovski crystals. Sidharth Malhotra complemented her in his beautiful, gold-beige sherwani by Manish Malhotra, embellished with similar embroidery in gold, ivory, and silver hues.
Post the wedding, Kiara Advani wore a gorgeous multi-tiered diamond and emerald necklace and rings with a white and black bodice and skirt by Manish Malhotra. While Sidharth Malhotra chose a black tailor-made velvet suit for the occasion. It was refreshing to see the bride wear a non-traditional outfit for the day!

Kiara’s kaleeras had been designed by Mrinalini Chandra, and it consisted of charming personal details such as the couple’s initials, Sidharth's pet dog, and their favourite travel destination. Alongside, it also had the moon, stars and butterflies as charms on it!

Not only did the Good Newwz actress start a whole new trend when it comes to bridal entry, but the phoolon ki chaadar she walked beneath is one for the books. Decorated and weaved with baby’s breath and an incredible amount of pearls, many can take note of just how ethereal and regal it looked!
After the wedding, Kiara and Sidharth shared their first Instagram post as a married couple, where they were seen greeting each other with folded hands. The caption was simple yet heartfelt, where they expressed their happiness and gratitude. It quickly became one of the most-liked Instagram posts in India! The moment was so iconic, that we later saw it parodied by Ananya Panday on her Amazon Prime Video show Call Me Bae!
