Caroline Garcia gets married to longtime partner Borja Duran in a dreamy ceremony in Spain...

French Tennis star Caroline Garcia has tied the knot with her long-time partner, Borja Duran. The ceremony took place over the weekend in Spain at the historic La Torre Del Remel nestled in Catalonia, and it included everything, from a traditional church ceremony to an all-out dance floor.
Garcia shared the moments of their stunning ceremony on social media, calling it “the most beautiful day of our lives.” The wedding garnered immense love from Caroline’s friends from the tennis world, including Paula Badosa, Garbiñe Muguruza, Ons Jabeur, Carla Suárez Navarro, among several others.
The romantic venue set the tone for a wedding weekend to remember with its grand architecture and idyllic mountain backdrop. Garcia’s radiant bridal look was in absolute harmony with the grandeur of the venue as she was surrounded by her loved ones, even her former teammates from the Billie Jean King Cup-Alize Cornet, Clara Burel and Diane Parry, who stood by her as she said, ‘I do.’

A wedding for the books, the dreamy event marked the beginning of her new life and the shift from an athlete to a life beyond tennis.
Garcia had announced her upcoming retirement before this year’s Roland Garros where she had received a heartfelt send-off at her home Grand Slam event. After her early singles exit against Bernarda Pera and a third-round finish with compatriot Diane Parry, Garcia had confirmed a few more tournaments before officially hanging her racquets and calling time on a remarkable 15-year career.
“After 15 years competing at the highest level, and over 25 years devoting almost every second of my life to this sport, I feel ready to turn the page and open a new chapter," Garcia had said ahead of the RG 2025.
Nonetheless, retirement hasn’t stopped her. Garcia enrolled in Harvard Business School last year and also started co-hosting the Tennis Insider Club podcast with her now husband, Duran. The show featured some of the biggest sports stars, including Naomi Osaka to Wimbledon champ Lga Swiatek.
While Garcia missed Wimbledon due to a back injury, she recently spent time at the event in a completely different role. She was seen creating content, attending dinners and supporting her friends. "Great podcast recordings I can’t wait to show you, awesome dinners with friends, time to support other friends during their matches and enjoying London," she had written, talking about her trip just before she dove into the wedding preparations.
Caroline Garcia’s journey to the top has not been an easy one, with injuries and often self-doubt and even a break in the year 2022. However, she has always bounced back stronger than before and has always been open about her personal battles. From a world-class athlete to now a wife, Caroline Garcia has opened a new chapter of her life in style and in the best way possible.
