    A fresh new beginning!

The wedding season in India keeps getting more vibrant as celebrities announce their weddings. Now joining the group, rapper and songwriter, Badshah, has tied the knot with Punjabi actress and model Isha Rikhi in a private ceremony. The news was made official when Isha’s mother, Poonam Rikhi, recently took to her Instagram to share a series of pictures from what fans believe to be the couple’s wedding ceremony.

In the photos shared on March 24, 2026, Badshah and Isha can be seen taking part in wedding rituals in the presence of their family members. Isha’s mother had captioned the post, “God bless you.”

The post featured Badshah wearing a brown kurta paired with a golden saafa, while Isha can be seen in a traditional red salwar kameez. The two can be seen wearing jaimala or the wedding garlands in some of the images from the ceremony. In the other pictures, the couple can be seen smiling and posing for the camera together.

Another video that has now surfaced and has garnered massive attention on the internet shows the couple performing wedding rituals, including pheras. Several other photos making the rounds feature Isha sporting sindoor.

While there has been no official confirmation from the couple, they have been rumoured to be dating for nearly four years. According to reports, the couple had first met at a party through their mutual friends and had instantly connected. What had initially begun as just acquaintances soon blossomed into romance as the two fell in love with each other. If the reports are to be believed, the two connected over their shared love for similar films and music, which further deepened their relationship. Badshah and Isha were also reportedly spotted together at Karan Aujla’s album launch last year.

As we await official confirmation from the couple, we wish them a hearty congratulations for this new beginning.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
