Princess Sheikha Mahra is finally hitched to rapper French Montana, and it is an engagement unlike any other. Not a candlelit dinner or a proposal in a garden, but a match made on the front rows of the Paris Fashion Week, a representative for French Montana revealed that the couple had gotten engaged in June 2025.
French Montana, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, popped the question to the daughter of Dubai’s ruler and UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the most unconventional setting, making for an iconic proposal.

The two were often spotted enjoying candlelit dinners in Dubai’s most exclusive restaurants and were even captured strolling hand-in-hand across Paris’s Pont des Arts, and were seen together in Moroccan mosques.
Sheikha Mahra, a modern woman who has carved her own identity over the years, had previously made the headlines for her personal life when in July 2024, she publicly announced the end of her marriage to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed Al Maktoum with an Instagram post that read, ““Dear Husband, as you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. Your ex-wife.” She had launched her luxury perfume line, Mahra M1, with its debut fragrance titled Divorce shortly after her separation from Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
