Oh, to be related to one of the world's best bridal couturiers to ever be known…

Fashion to those who design it is not just about the garments but an emotion that expresses them as well as how they are feeling, and this is exactly what one of the biggest names in the world of bridal couture felt when his son Celio Saab got married to Zein Qutami, a Jordanian Palestinian influencer.
A dreamy wedding celebration with a traditional multi-tier cake (10 tiers!) with a list of all the high-profile guests in Lebanon that you can count on your fingers, Elie Saab went all out for the occasion.
So, it did not come as a surprise when the celebrated Lebanese designer put together the most magnificent and one-of-a-kind bridal ensembles for his new daughter-in-law. Zein adorned not one, not two, but four of Saab’s custom-made gowns, and each of them as elegant as the other- talk about extravagant!

The wedding was attended by several celebrities, including Nancy Ajram, Nadine Nassib Njeim and Elissa and the wedding, nothing less than a festival, took place against the backdrop of the church of Bkerke where they exchanged their vows.
While the bride and groom were the main focus of the event, Zein’s outfits were not secondary. Showcasing his signature style and the elegant blend of sophistication with modern style, the gowns highlighted Zein’s charm as every look was crafted with unmissable details. Featuring not only intricate embroidery, but the gowns were also masterpieces that wove a story through their sequins and beading.
Everything about Zein and Celio Saab’s wedding was screaming luxury, but one of the most difficult things to do for the guests was to take their eyes off Zein Qutami’s looks. For her after-party, the influencer was gracing the aqua-coloured Elie Saab gown after her wedding to Celio. One of the four looks from the custom-designed wedding collection, the others included an ivory wedding gown, a pre-wedding dress and a gold ball gown.
Enough has been said about the ensembles; it is now time to see the fine pieces for ourselves.
The Ivory wedding gown, a floor-length, long-sleeved gown with a dramatic train behind her gave her the look of a disney princess with intricate silver embroidery and embellishments clinging to her curves like silver lining to the clouds. The gown was paired with a cathedral length veil that matched with the headpiece ahead of the religious ceremony.
The second look, a champagne-toned floor-length gown with a deep neckline plunging into a V, was covered with vertical metallic embroidery. While you might think that was it, it wasn’t- the dress, celebrating the over-the-top glamour of Elie Saab’s almost theatrical couture pieces, featured a dramatic overskirt that matched the long veil to suit the celebratory mood of the occasion.
Last but not least, a dreamy rose sand gown with a flowing cape, designed for the pre-wedding festivities and the welcome dinner, that fit right in with the natural setting of the venue and created a perfect harmony.
Zein, in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, had elaborated on the romance of the gowns and their designs with the setting of the religious wedding. Calling it a mindful curation from an artistic mind, she highlighted that the collection was the perfect mix of bold with radiance, rightly reflecting Saab’s vision for his masterpieces.
Talking about her party dress, she had said, “This was the dress that felt the most like ‘me,’ the kind of silhouette and style that I naturally gravitate towards. Since the reception allowed more freedom compared to the ceremony, I was able to express myself more fully. It had the feel of an evening gown, but elevated and exaggerated in just the right way for a wedding, with the dramatic train adding that final touch.”
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Zein Qutani is loved and very warmly welcomed into this new phase of her life since Elie Saab’s gowns, perfectly tailored for her, reflect not just how important the occasion was for the couple and their families but also how important Zein was to Celio’s family.
