Former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan to tie the knot with girlfriend Sophie Shine in February

According to reports, former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is getting married to his girlfriend Sophie Shine in Delhi.

    Wedding bells are ringing for former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, who is all set to walk down the aisle with his longtime beau Sophie Shine, in the third week of February. According to a report published in a leading daily, the wedding will take place in Delhi-NCR with the who's who of cricket and Bollywood in attendance.


    Sophie Shine is an Irish national and a corporate professional. She studied Marketing and Management at the Limerick Institute of Technology and holds a senior position at a financial services company. Beyond her corporate career, Sophie is also associated with Dhawan’s philanthropic ventures, including his foundation and sports initiatives, where she plays an active role.

    The couple reportedly met in Dubai during a cricket event and slowly developed a strong bond. Their relationship began gaining public attention when they were spotted together at matches and on social media. In May 2025, they made their romance Instagram official when Sophie posted a picture with Dhawan.
