Akhil Akkineni tied the knot with Zainab Ravdjee in an intimate ceremony X and Instagram/Akhil Akkineni
Congratulations are in order for Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni, who is now married to artist Zainab Ravdjee. The couple tied the knot in Nagarjuna’s residence in Hyderabad earlier today.
For the intimate traditional ceremony, the bride and groom wore matching ivory outfits. Akhil looked resplendent in his white kurta and pancha, paired with a matching angavastra. The bride looked beautiful in a white and gold sari paired with diamond jewellery.
The festivities kicked off early in the morning with a baraat where the groom’s father, Nagarjuna, and his brother, Naga Chaitanya, danced their hearts out with the rest of the procession. Close family and friends of the bride and groom were in attendance for the main wedding ceremony.

The ceremony’s guest list included some of the most popular names of the Telugu film industry, with celebrities like Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni, and Prashant Neel present. Sobhita Dhulipala, the most recent addition to the Akkineni household, was also present in a stunning gold sari.
The Akkinenis will, reportedly, host a grand reception at the family’s Annapurna Studio in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, on June 8th.
Who is Zainab Ravdjee, Akhil Akkineni’s wife?
Zainab Ravdjee is a well-known artist and art exhibitor who is known for her abstract and impressionist works. Her Instagram bio also credits her as a bespoke perfumer. She is also the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee and the sister of Zain Ravdjee, the chairman and Managing Director of ZR Renewable Energy Pvt. Ltd.

The couple announced their engagement back in November 2024 with a series of photographs on Instagram.
