Inside South Korean Actress Song Ji-eun’s Wedding With YouTuber Park We
The couple got married in a star-studded, touching ceremony in Seoul recently…
South Korean actress Song Ji-eun has finally tied the knot with popular YouTuber Park We. While they had registered their wedding officially in late September, the two held a ceremony for their family and friends in Seoul recently. The couple shared glimpses from the wedding with their fans on Instagram. Song Ji-eun wrote, “Love healed and perfected so much in every step we took toward our starting line. We now wish to become the little church to share and spread the love we've received. We hope you congratulate us on that first step.”

Singer and actress Song Ji-eun, who made her debut as a K-pop star with girl group Secret in 2009, chose a stunningly simple strapless satin gown by bridal label ONU and opted for a veil as an accessory. Park We, who has been paralysed from the neck down for the past 10 years, went with a classic tux for the ceremony.
In a video shared by the couple on Instagram, Park We could be seen getting emotional as the bride made her way down the aisle with her father. According to reports, Song Ji-eun, too, got misty-eyed upon hearing Par We’s vows, especially when he said, “Today, a decade since my paralysis diagnosis, I am thankful to have you, the one I will spend my life with.”

Along with the couple’s close family and friends, there were several recognisable names in attendance. The ceremony was officiated by entertainer Jun Hyun-moo, and Song Ji-eun’s former group members Jung Hana and Jung Hyosung were also present. Singer In Soon and comedian Jo Hye-run performed for the guests.

The couple had, reportedly, met each other in 2022 at a church meeting. They went public with their relationship in December 2023, with the YouTuber writing, “This incredible, kind, and thoughtful woman has entered my life. I am thankful for finding someone with such a gentle spirit and strong faith,” along with a photo on Instagram.

The two had also shared stunning photographs from their pre-wedding shoot with their fans before the ceremony.

Actress Song Ji-eun has appeared in many fan-favourite K-dramas like My Secret Romance, Melting Me Softly and So I Married An Anti Fan. Park We was a former footballer who became paralysed after suffering a severe spinal injury. After partially recovering from the accident, he launched a YouTube channel in 2019, called ‘Weracle’, where he chronicles his life journey and aims to inspire members of the specially-abled community.
