Congratulations are in order for Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif as the couple welcome their first child. Blessed with a baby boy, the actors shared the announcement with their fans on Friday, through a joint post on Instagram. The post was captioned, “blessed” and the post read, “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November 2025. — Katrina & Vicky.”
The couple were not the only ones expressing their excitement as they welcomed their ‘bundle of joy’, Vicky Kaushal’s brother, Sunny Kaushal, also shared a note on his Instagram story, expressing his happiness over the joyous moment. He wrote, "Main chacha ban gays (I became an uncle)."
The news was quick to garner attention. From their fans to colleagues from the industry and well-wishers flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages. Many celebrities like Shreya Ghoshal, Parineeti Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Ayushmann Khuranna, Rajkumar Rao and several others commented on the post, congratulating the couple and blessing them.
Katrina and Vicky had previously announced that they are expecting their first child on September 23, calling it the best chapter of their lives. The joint Instagram post where they had first announced the news was a heartwarming polaroid photograph of Vicky and Katrina caressing the actress's baby bump, and the photo was captioned, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude (sic).”
The couple had tied the knot in December of 2021 in a private ceremony with only the couple’s family and close friends in attendance. Their wedding had taken place at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan.
