K-pop idol and actress Hyomin tied the knot in an intimate yet opulent wedding in Seoul recentlyInstagram

The who’s who of the South Korean entertainment industry descended upon Seoul’s The Shilla Hotel to attend the wedding of T-ara member Hyomin.

Park Sun-young, AKA Hyomin, got married to her non-celebrity boyfriend (reportedly a guy in finance who is also of a “towering height”!) recently.

In the stunning wedding photoshoot, Hyomin could be seen wearing bridalwear from Tal Kedem and Atelier Ku. The singer and actress shared a heartfelt note to accompany the photographs, writing, “I’ve met someone who is the most wonderful person in my eyes. Preparing for this new chapter has reminded me how grateful I am for those who have been there and supported me. And dear my beloved fans, my appreciation for you will never change. I’ll continue to live with sincerity and dedication as Park Sun Young.”

The guest list was, naturally, a star-studded one with celebrities like Lee Dong-wook, Kim Jae-joong, Jun Hyo-seong, Kwon Yui, Hong Seok-cheon and Lee Sang-min in attendance.

Fans of T-ara, or Queens as they like to call themselves, were delighted to spot a mini-reunion of the bandmates at the wedding. All the members were present to celebrate Hyomin’s big day, except Park So-yeon, who is in Dubai with her husband, footballer Cho Yu-min.

In the photographs and clips shared on social media from the wedding, Hyomin and her fiancé could be seen looking radiant in their wedding finery (although all photographs hid the groom’s face for discretion). According to T-ara member Jeon Bo-ram, the ceremony looked “like a scene from a fairy tale”.

Comedian Jo Se-ho turned MC for the wedding, and singer Gummy and actor Yim Si-wan performed.

Here’s wishing the bride and groom a happily ever after!

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.

The fact that it comes with band, baaja and baraat — what's not to love? And that is the reason our first issue celebrates:
    THE NEW BRIDE.
