Any wedding season is incomplete without a spate of celebrity weddings. And this year has seen its fair share of grand, celebrity weddings. Or have you forgotten the international sensation that Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding became?!

Bollywood and Hollywood celebrity couples such as Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal to Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bonjiovi also offered us some major inspiration with their stunning weddings. Iconic Celebrity Weddings 2024

Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant got married on July 12th this year at the Antilia building and Jio Convention Center and of course, as we all know, it was one of the grandest weddings of the decade. Not to mention, the spectacular pre-wedding events pretty much left a mark online and our minds. Anant and Radhika’s wedding unified people, designers and culture in more ways than one. From Radhika Merchant wearing some stunning archival looks to Isha Ambani donning a Schiaparelli sari for the couple’s sangeet, we witnessed some major pop-culture moments at their wedding.

Taapsee Pannu-Mathias Boe

Though Taapsee Pannu and beau Mathias Boe’s wedding pictures came out to reveal the duo got married in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur in March this year, Taapsee revealed that the two had had a court marriage in December 2023. The Danish badminton player and actor had allegedly been in a relationship for around a decade before tying the knot.

Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya

Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya’s stunning traditional Telugu wedding that took place recently, on the 4th of December left the internet absolutely awestruck. Sobhita donned innumerable saris throughout the wedding, but the attire she wore for the final rituals was a beautiful gold Kanjeevaram sari by Neeta Lulla.

Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth

Actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth’s adorable connection had been speculated about for a long time. And they finally tied the knot this year on the 26th of September. The couple also had two wedding ceremonies, one was an intimate temple wedding on the 16th of September in Telangana, and the second took place at the Alila Fort Bishangarh.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare celebrated their union with two distinct ceremonies in early 2024. In January, Ira and Nupur held a registered marriage at Mumbai's Taj Lands End Hotel. In fact, Nupur Shikhare, who’s a fitness trainer jogged to the venue to commemorate him jogging from his place to Ira’s while having known each other. So, he showed up to the location in a pair of shorts and a vest and later changed into a sherwani! The following week, they hosted a grand celebration in Udaipur, Rajasthan where Ira wore an ivory lehenga with intricate embroidery, while Nupur donned a classic sherwani.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal celebrated their wedding, in Mumbai. The day began with a private civil ceremony at Sonakshi Sinha’s residence, followed by a grand reception at the renowned restaurant Bastian. Sonakshi chose a vintage ivory Chikankari saree that once belonged to her mother, Poonam Sinha. While Zaheer Iqbal wore an ivory-toned threadwork kurta set.

Aaliyah Kashyap and Shane Gregoire

Aaliyah Kashyap and Shane Gregoire got married at The Bombay Club in Mumbai. While Aaliyah wore a Tarun Tahiliani lehenga, Shane complemented her in a classic sherwani from the same designer.

Keerthy Suresh and Antony Thattil

ActorKeerthy Suresh and entrepreneur Antony Thattil got married on December 12, in Goa. Keerthy donned a mustard and green silk saree by Anita Dongre, and Antony donned an elegant ivory silk veshti and shirt, paired with a green-bordered angavastram. The couple also held a Christian wedding ceremony later on.

Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene

Lana Del Rey married alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene in September in an intimate ceremony at Arthur's Airboat Tours in Des Allemands, Louisiana. The singer wore a custom gown by designer Macye Wysner of CINQ (which just FYI, she thrifted for $400), featuring a romantic ruffled neckline and a full skirt.

Charlie Puth and Brooke Sansone

Charlie Puth and Brooke Sansone exchanged vows at the Puth family residence in Montecito, California. Brooke wore a custom satin strapless wedding gown by Danielle Frankel, while Charlie opted for a custom black suit by Bode. The couple celebrated their union with close family and friends, marking a significant milestone in their relationship.

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani tied the knot in February at the ITC Grand Goa. The couple's wedding attire was crafted by renowned designer Tarun Tahiliani; Rakul dazzled in a blush pink lehenga while Jackky wore an ivory sherwani. Their wedding festivities spanned three days.

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongioviexchanged vows in May 2024 at Villa Cetinale in Tuscany, Italy. Millie wore a custom Galia Lahav gown, and Jake looked dapper in an ivory tuxedo jacket paired with black pants and a black bow tie. The intimate ceremony was officiated by Matthew Modine, Millie's co-star from Stranger Things, who portrayed her character's father figure in the series.

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma tied the knot in September, at the exclusive Hotel Cala di Volpe in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, Italy. The couple exchanged vows in a romantic seaside ceremony attended by approximately 60 family members and close friends. Both brides wore custom-designed gowns by Pronovias.

Princess Martha Louise and Durek Verrett

Princess Märtha Louise of Norway and American spiritual guide Durek Verrett got married on August 31, at Hotel Union in Geiranger, Norway. ICYMI, there were some major controversies surrounding the couple and their wedding. Not only has their rendition of how they knew one another in a past life in Egypt received quite a bit of flak, but prior to the event, they launched a pink gin labelled with the princess's title, which was perceived as a violation of her 2019 agreement to refrain from using her royal status for commercial purposes.

Ben Platt and Noah Galvin celebrated their wedding over the Labor Day weekend this year, with a series of events across New York City, including a performance by their favourite band, Muna, and a late-night musical theatre singalong, reflecting their shared love for music and theatre. Their wedding and after-party outfits were designed by Thom Browne, Issey Miyake, and Arel Studio. The couple exchanged wedding bands crafted by the jewellery label Grace Lee.

Josh Radnor and Jordana Jacobs

Josh Radnor, renowned for his role in "How I Met Your Mother," married clinical psychologist Jordana Jacobs in January, at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, New York. Actors Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda got married on March 15, in Manesar, Haryana. Kriti wore a blush pink lehenga with Rajasthani gota work, designed by Anamika Khanna, while Pulkit complemented her in a mint green sherwani, also by Anamika Khanna.

Ed Westwick, renowned for his role as Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl, married actress Amy Jackson in a picturesque ceremony on Italy's Amalfi Coast in August 2024. The couple's wedding festivities spanned three days, commencing with a sunset cruise featuring blue-and-white décor and live Italian music. The ceremony itself took place at the historic Castello di Rocca Cilento.
