Prakriti Kakar Ties The Knot With Entreprenuer Vinay Anand In An Intimate Ceremony
A sweet ceremony for the Bollywood singer Prakriti Kakar and her now-husband Vinay Anand...
Another day, another addition to the group of newlyweds in the Indian entertainment industry, as singer Prakriti Kakar ties the knot with entrepreneur Vinay Anand. Popular for her Bollywood songs like Katra Katra, Hawaa Hawaa and Bheegh Loon, the singer married Vinay in an intimate ceremony on 23 January at Fort Barwara near Jaipur. She later shared stunning pictures from their sweet ceremony on Instagram, and her fans have not stopped gushing over the little glimpses of their special day ever since.
The pictures captured the couple's joy and sweet moments from their big day. Prakriti looked ethereal in a classic red bridal lehenga, paired with emerald and polki jewellery. She took her look a notch further with an elaborate necklace, matching earrings and maang tikka. And Vinay only added to the charm. Complementing Prakriti's bridal look, he wore an ivory sherwani. Prakriti's post on Instagram was captioned, "Just married. 23.01.2026", and the first picture featured the couple holding hands at the mandap, while the next one captured them exchanging varmalas as the guests showered rose petals on them.
However, this was not it. Their wedding celebrations had kicked off long before these images dropped on Instagram. A bachelorette getaway organised by her sisters and close friends marked the beginning of their new journey. The Singer had revealed that they had a fun trip to a villa near the lake, and it was marked by games, art activities, custom T-shirts, balloons printed with her photos, and more. "My sisters are the best maids of honour one could have," she said.
The couple had gotten engaged back in April 2025, and Prakriti had announced the news on Instagram through another Instagram post that was captioned, "All love stories are beautiful but ours is my favorite🥹 hi fiancée @vinayanand26 "
Prakriti had earlier revealed her wedding plans to Hindustan Times. "The wedding is at Fort Barwara near Jaipur, which will be an intimate ceremony. That will be followed by celebrations in Delhi," she had also added, "There will also be a big reception in Mumbai, where everyone who has been part of my journey and industry colleagues will join in. It's going to be two weeks of fun."
