According to reports, the couple is set to marry each other in a destination wedding in Udaipur and will be hosting the wedding reception later on March 3 in Hyderabad.
While the wedding venue has not been revealed yet, a wedding invite has been doing the rounds on social media. It refers to the couple’s journey together and how they believe in celebrating their big day with those who have been a part of it. The invite is reportedly sent on behalf of Vijay and it mentions the reception venue and the timing for the same.
The invite further mentioned, "I am writing to share some special news and to invite you to be a part of a huge moment in our lives.
With the love and blessings of our families, Rashmika and I will be getting married on 26.02.26 in a small and intimate ceremony.

The couple reportedly got engaged in Hyderabad in October 2025 in a private ceremony, however, there has been no official confirmation on the news of the engagement. Nonetheless, a viral video from the success party of Rashmika’s movie, The Girlfriend, shows Vijay standing by her and kissing her hand.
The two initially worked together on the Telugu movie Geetha Govindam (2018), which was a huge success and made them one of the most adored on-screen duos in South cinema. Many people liked their chemistry. Both their professional relationship and fan conjecture were further strengthened when they reconnected in the 2019 film Dear Comrade. Rumors about their relationship were fueled by social media posts, their appearances at several gatherings, frequent holidays at comparable areas around the same time, and subtly endorsing each other's films.
