Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda Confirm "The Wedding of Virosh" In a Sweet Post
Behold "The Wedding Of Virosh"
Love is in the air as Actor Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda officially announce their wedding and the internet has not been able to keep calm ever since. The couple recently took to their social media handles on Instagram to make the news public. Not just that, they also took the opportunity to share a heartfelt revelation with their fans. The couple revealed that their big day will be called “The Wedding of Virosh.”
In a deeply personal note, the couple explained that the name was born out of the love of their fans who had combined both their names to create a ship name for the duo long before the wedding bells had sounded, owing to their chemistry with each other onscreen as well as offscreen.
In the Instagram story where the couple made the news official, the couple wrote a note for the fans. They penned, “Our Dearest loves,
Before we made any plans,
before we chose anything for ourselves—
You were already there.
With so much love, you gave us a name
You called us ‘VIROSH’.
So today — with full hearts,
we name our coming together in your honour.
We would like to name it —
‘The Wedding of VIROSH’.
Thank you for holding us with so much love.
You are a part of us — always.
Biggest hugs and full love! (sic)”
Previously, a wedding card for their wedding had surfaced on social media, stating that the Geetha Govindam stars were set to tie the knot on February 26. According to the wedding card, the wedding ceremony will then be followed by a grand reception on March 4 in Hyderabad. The text on the wedding card read, “I’m writing to share some special news and to invite you to be part of a huge moment in our lives. With the love and blessings of our families, Rashmika and I will be getting married on 26.02.26 in a small and intimate ceremony.”“ However, there was no official statement by the couple on the rumoured wedding card.
The couple had reportedly gotten engaged in October of 2025 in a private ceremony with only close friends and family in attendance.
