To mark the occasion, the actress shared a snippet from her wedding day on her Instagram, reflecting on the past year as a wife. She paired the video from her wedding to Naga Chaitanya with a sweet poem in the caption. Her post read, “The wind always blows homeward. Back in the Deccan and one trippy trip round the Sun with the man I call husband, I feel anew. As though purified by fire. One year as Mrs!”

The video that Sobhita shared offered her fans a sneak peek into her wedding day, from a year ago, as it captured beautiful moments across their various wedding functions, from their haldi ceremony to the moment when Naga Chaitanya tied the taali, and the two showered each other with flower petals. The video featured intimate moments where Sobhita could be seen blushing, talking about her husband as she says, “I don’t know if I believe that a person is incomplete and somebody else comes in and fills that void. I think we are complete on our own. And yet, in his absence, I would not be full.”

The video also captured Naga Chaitanya grinning widely as he spoke about his wife, Sobhita. He can be heard saying, “The thought of her when I wake up and when I go to sleep…the thought of her, knowing that she’s in my life is such a comforting feeling, and it gives me the feeling that I can conquer anything with her next to me.”

The video was quick to garner attention from the couple’s fans. Not just that, even Naga Chaitanya commented on Sobhita’s post. His comment read, “Blessed to be a part of your journey my love❤️happy anniversary.”

The couple had dated for two years before tying the knot on December 4, 2024 at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, and their wedding was a traditional Telugu ceremony attended by their close friends and family only.

For Manifest to become one of Cambridge Dictionary's most viewed words of 2024 — 1,30,000 hits and counting — it means some of us must have Googled it at least once. I know, I hit that search button over and over again
because each time I looked at it, I saw a new meaning.

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
