The Indian entertainment industry has been in celebration mode and the reason is the wedding festivities of Nationalist Congress Party-SP MP Supriya Sule’s daughter, Revati Sule.
Revati Sule officially tied the knot with Sarang Lakhani, son of businessman and politician Arun Lakhani in a grand wedding ceremony in Mumbai. The celebrations, a star studded affair, unfolded over two days in Mumbai and had several prominent faces from Bollywood, politics and the business world in attendance.
From the sangeet ceremony to the wedding celebrations, the guest list read like a who’s who of India. Several prominent business leaders were present, including Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani and his wife Priti Adani.
Bollywood also turned up in full force for the special occasion. Several clips from the celebration showed Amitabh Bachchan attending the wedding along with his wife Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Shah Rukh Khan, Jackie Shroff and Ravi Kishan were among the other well-known film personalities who marked their attendance during the celebrations.
The wedding also drew some of the country’s top political figures . Among those present were Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Karnataka leader D.K. Shivakumar, NCP-SP leader Rohit Pawar, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, DPAP founder Ghulam Nabi Azad, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was also seen attending the celebrations.
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan and his family, several other stars arrived to celebrate the couple’s big day. Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar were among the guests, while videos of celebrities arriving at the venue quickly spread across social media.
One of the viral clips from the wedding showed Amitabh Bachchan interacting with Nita Ambani, Chairperson and Founder of the Reliance Foundation. Nita Ambani attended the wedding along with her daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant Ambani.
It wasn’t just the wedding that garnered all the attention, the pre-wedding festivities also had the internet buzzing. A viral video from the couple’s sangeet ceremony that captured Shah Rukh Khan dancing to the iconic song ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ from his blockbuster film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai got the netizens very excited.
The superstar was also seen sharing special moments on the dance floor with bride Revati Sule and groom Sarang Lakhani. Dressed in an all-black outfit and sporting a new hairstyle, SRK’s appearance became one of the highlights of the evening.
Singer Rahul Vaidya, who performed during the wedding festivities, shared glimpses of the memorable evening on social media. Reflecting on the celebration, he wrote, “Last night was one for the books. A room full of celebrated personalities, respected leaders, and cherished guests — brought together by the universal language of music. Sharing a few moments from a beautiful evening that was intimate, elegant, and filled with incredible energy. Thank you for the love.”
In another post, Rahul shared a video featuring Shah Rukh Khan and captioned it, “King Khan graced our stage last night! What a night for Revati and Sarang.”
For the unversed, Revati Sule is an alumna of the London School of Economics, while Sarang Lakhani studied at Columbia Business School. Sarang is also the son of Nagpur-based businessman and politician Arun Lakhani.
