According to TMZ, the couple had previously been linked to plans involving a celebration in Rhode Island. Sources told the outlet that a booking had been made at the Ocean House resort for June 13. However, those plans reportedly did not go ahead.

TMZ also claimed that a fireworks display had been organised as part of the reception celebrations. A source told the publication, “We’ve done some digging, and found out a big ol’ fireworks show was planned as part of the reception.”

The report further stated, “But in mid-May, the fireworks company handling the show got word the event was canceled and had been moved to New York.”

The reported cancellation was the first major indication that the couple may have decided to change direction with their wedding celebrations.

New York Now at the Heart of the Buzz

Following the reported shift, attention has quickly turned to New York City. Reports from both TMZ and Page Six suggest that Swift and Kelce are still planning a large celebration around July 3, with Madison Square Garden emerging as the venue most frequently mentioned in speculation.

Neither Taylor Swift nor Travis Kelce has officially confirmed the venue, but the possibility has generated plenty of excitement among fans.

However, according to a Page Six report that was published on Thursday, the gathering at Taylor and Travis’s wedding as a large-scale one that was likely to welcome a significant number of guests. The report suggested that the celebration is expected to feel more like a major production than a small private ceremony.

Could Taylor Swift Perform at Her Own Wedding?

Adding another layer to the growing speculation, Star Magazine recently reported that Swift may perform during the wedding celebrations.

A source quoted by the outlet claimed that the singer is “preparing something special” for the event. While there has been no official confirmation, the report quickly sparked conversations among fans who are wondering whether music could play a bigger role in the festivities.

Around the same time, Swift was spotted in New York leaving Electric Lady Studios. She was seen alongside members of Haim, drawing even more attention to her recent activities in the city.

However, there is currently no evidence linking the studio visit directly to any wedding-related plans. Meanwhile, Kelce has largely stayed out of the spotlight. The Kansas City Chiefs star was recently seen spending time with friends in Los Angeles during mid-June, but he has not publicly commented on any of the wedding reports.
