After months of speculation and engagement buzz, the 'Training Season' is over for Dua Lipa and Callum Turner as they have officially tied the knot. And the real celebrations are only just beginning.

For months, fans and pop-culture enthusiasts had been quietly counting down to this wedding announcement in particular. The engagement buzz, the sun-soaked holiday sightings, the near-constant speculation that dominated headlines through early 2026, all of it has finally arrived at its destination. Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are married.

The singer and actor said their vows in an intimate registry ceremony at London's Old Marylebone Town Hall. It is, notably, the same building where Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr once signed their own marriage certificates. The couple chose a private, low-key legal wedding first, with a much grander Sicilian celebration reportedly set for next week.

Photographs outside the venue captured them stepping into the afternoon light, hand-in-hand, as guests unleashed a storm of confetti. It was understated, instinctive and quietly cinematic. Very them.

    The Wedding Outfit

Even a hush-hush registry ceremony has no chance of staying out of the fashion conversation when the bride is Dua Lipa. She did not disappoint.

The Levitating singer wore a structured powder blue skirt-suit with a dramatic wide-brimmed hat designed by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli, satin gloves and Christian Louboutin heels. For jewellery she went for the Serpenti high jewellery Tubolare necklace from Bvlgari. The ensemble hit a precise sweet spot between old-Hollywood glamour and modern bridal edge. Callum Turner kept pace in a classic Ferragamo navy double-breasted suit.

But the registry look is almost certainly just the prologue. Rumours have been circulating that Simon Porte Jacquemus is crafting at least one of her looks for Sicily, while separate reports tie Donatella Versace and the Atelier team to the celebrations. Given Dua's track record of turning fashion moments into cultural events, her Sicily wardrobe is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated bridal fashion stories in recent memory.

    The Speculative Guest List

No official list has been confirmed, but Elton John, Charli XCX, Tove Lo, Mark Ronson and Donatella Versace have all been name-dropped in connection with the Sicilian festivities. If the speculation holds even partially true, it will be less a wedding guest list and more a cultural moment disguised as a seating chart. International media has already taken to framing it as one of the defining celebrity weddings of 2026, and it is hard to argue otherwise.

    The Main Ceremony

The Sicily celebrations are expected to stretch across three days, with Palermo and Bagheria cited as the likely locations. Villa Igiea and Villa Valguarnera, two of the region's most storied luxury venues, have both been linked to the event. As backdrops go, it is difficult to imagine anything more fitting for a couple who manage to make the spectacular feel intimate.

For the unversed, their romance for the most part unfolded quietly. The first whispers of a relationship surfaced in early 2024. From there, shared travels and low-key public appearances slowly built a picture of something real and grounded. The engagement followed in 2025. Dua later shared that Callum had worked closely with her family while designing the ring, a detail that said a great deal about the kind of relationship this is.

Well, for a woman who has made a career out of turning every public appearance into a talking point, we can't wait to see what the Sicilian celebration will have in store for us!

Putting together a homegrown title at a time when the demise of print has been long announced may seem surprising...
...but it has long been a dream of mine to give India a magazine it deserves. A magazine that is the country.

And nothing, absolutely nothing, represents India more than our weddings. It is a time when families are brought together. Traditions come alive as they are adapted to each couple's beliefs. And lives are joined in a way that the romantic in me still enjoys.
