Hyundai India Couture Week 2026, in association with FDCI, returns with 13 leading couturiers and a landmark shift beyond Delhi. Anamika Khanna opens the edition at Hyderabad’s Falaknuma Palace with a collection reimagining a lost civilisation, while subsequent shows at New Delhi’s Taj Palace highlight India’s finest craftsmanship, luxury fashion and evolving couture narratives.
India's biggest couture carnival is back with 13 established couturiers all set to showcase their craft on the ramp at Hyundai India Couture Week in association with the Fashion Design Council of India.
For the first time, the inaugural show will take place outside the capital, in Hyderabad, with designer Anamika Khanna opening this milestone edition at the iconic Falaknuma Palace. The remaining shows will take place at New Delhi's Taj Palace Hotel until July 30.
Anamika Khanna's show will be a celebration of the extraordinary craftsmanship that defines Indian couture. The designer will be rendering a contemporary spin to Indian craft. Her collection will be a poetic reimagination of a lost civilisation, unfolding through a series of archetypal figures across menswear and womenswear. Through a rich interplay of texture, embellishment and form, her collection will explore the enduring relationship between memory, craftsmanship and self-expression.
The other twelve names who will be a part of the coveted couture calendar include JJ Valaya, Tarun Tahiliani, Rahul Mishra, Falguni Shane Peacock, Kunal Rawal, Rimzim Dadu, Rohit Bal, Masaba, Aisha Rao, Jayanti Reddy, Arpita Mehta and Roseroom by Isha Jajodia.
Every year, FDCI introduces new names to its calendar, and this year, designer Masaba Gupta joins the lineup. She will be showcasing at India Couture Week for the first time.
The lineup includes designers from across India and not just Delhi. Speaking more about the new season of India Couture Week, FDCI chairman Sunil Sethi said, “Couture is the finest form of hand-made skill, it is laborious and unique, the Hyundai India Couture Week celebrates this innate power with potent storytelling. This year both legends as well as upcoming fashion gurus will honour the rich legacy of Indian craftsmanship. We welcome Nexxus New York as our Associate Partner this year which will further add ingenuity to the showcasing."
As India's most prestigious couture platform, the event will bring together the country's leading couturiers, celebrated craftsmanship, and the finest expressions of luxury fashion, reaffirming India's position on the global couture map.
