Another great season of ICW has concluded and we have spotted the best bridal trends for 2025 for you.

As always, the much-awaited week in the fashion world, the Hyundai India Couture Week 2025 served one of the best experiences for all the fashion enthusiasts. It didn’t just set the stage for couture but hinted at everything trendy that we should keep an eye out for this wedding season. With the vibrant collections across designers, ICW 2025 concluded at its peak as it gave us some of the most memorable and iconic ensembles that one is sure to search for, ahead of important occasions.
From corset lehengas to sheer ensembles and even raging reds, if this year’s collections were anything to go by, designers are not just making fashion statements but giving us philosophies to live by. We have, therefore, rounded up the standout trends that ruled the runway this year for you to know what’s hot this season and what’s not…

While not new, corsets have been taking form in the fashion world forever and now have become a best friend for fashion designers. From Jayanti Reddy’s red corset lehenga to Roseroom by Isha Jajodia’s embellished corset ensemble to Tarun Tahiliani’s sculpted molten corset silhouette, they have had a tight reign over the runway this season.

A very Gen Z trend in the making, drop shoulder ensembles are leading the way this season as designers from Tarun Tahiliani to Rimzim Dadu, Ritu Kumar and Aisha Rao choose to make their marks on the runway with their exquisite and artful drop shoulder ensembles. From embellished drop shoulder lehengas to metallic drop shoulder sarees, it is a trend that is here to stay.

A trend that never goes out of style, pearls will always be the way to go, not just in your accessories but also, now, in your ensemble, and that is a fashion statement that Roseroom by Isha Jajodia, Suneet Varma and Tarun Tahiliani have boldly made this season with their pearl embellished ensembles gracing the runway.

There is no such thing as too much red and the designers at India Couture Week 2025 made sure everyone knew it. From Aisha Rao’s sherwani for her groomswear collection to Amit Aggarwal’s fluid silhouettes, Fashion designers have highlighted that red has no gender, only royalty, and names like Jayanti Reddy, JJ Valaya, Rohit Bal and Roseroom by Isha Jajodia have followed suit.

What’s more of a statement than a sheer ensemble? Designers from Ritu Kumar, Rohit Bal, Roseroom by Isha Jajodia and Tarun Tahiliani have made a bold statement with their risqué sheer ensembles. From sheer capes to sheer lehengas, this year’s runway has witnessed it all and we are set to embrace its charm.
